4. Watering - Water moderately, avoiding water retention around the roots.
5. Fertilizing - An essential procedure to maintain their growth and profuse flowering. Usually done in early spring. Required micronutrients to be present - phosphorus, potassium, nitrogen, etc.
6. Pruning and Care - Pruning is done in late winter or early spring to stimulate new abundant growth and richer flowering. Always use well-sharpened secateurs for this purpose, which must be disinfected after each use to prevent the spread of disease, if any.
